The Johnson Family

We are Jeff and Sara Johnson. We have four wonderful children, two sons and two daughters, ranging in age from 6 to 12. We believe that children are a blessing from the Lord, and we would be honored to welcome more children into our home through adoption. We love Jesus and want others to know His great love. Jeff is in the Air Force, and I homeschool our children. We live on a small farm where we raise chickens, milk goats, and garden. Our children love to play their violins and participate in their scouting troops.

Prayerfully Waiting for yo Adopt

Hi!!! We are the Anderson Family Brad(30) Michaela(29) Hannah(5) and we are prayerfully waiting to welcome a child into our family with unconditional love and open arms.
Brad and Michaela met in 2014 and knew instantly that it was love at first site. They have been married a total of 8 1/2 years and have a beautiful little girl. Brad is a Pastor at a small country Baptist Church in Oktaha Oklahoma and Michaela is a Medical Assistant for a outpatient drug and alcohol treatment center. They enjoy spending time with each other and with Hannah you can usually find them outside gardening, playing ball or anything to enjoy each others company. Brad and Michaela knew early on in their relationship they were called to adopt, as Christ has adopted them. They were blessed to have Hannah after being told they couldn't have children. Brad and Michaela have a very strong support system with parents and grandparents on both sides eagerly waiting another child to love and spoil. Brad and Michaela are certified foster parents in the state of Oklahoma and look forward to growing their family in whichever way the Lord sees fit.

Would love to welcome a child

Hello:

My name is Maria a USA citizen, and my husband name is Ben. He was born in Albania but is now a dual citizen for over 20 years of both countries. I have watched the horrors of war in Ukraine, and have had fertility issues. I would love to provide a safe and secure home for a Ukrainian child for adoption. We have just bought a new home and left a room open in hopes of manifesting either adoption or fertility. We are residents of Long Island New York, and both own business here. I work from home so would be able to care for child 24/7

Adopting in Maryland!

Thank you for taking the time to read our story!

Our names are Katie and Jason and we are interested in adopting a child to expand our family! We have been happily married for several years and believe that children are an absolute blessing to our family. We have one young son, but we are hoping to expand our family. He loves Santa, using “tools” to fix things, and enjoys eating anything with cheese on it. He loves going to the Home Depot and playing with his cars. He is very sweet and we are so proud of him! We are a Chrisitan family and raise our son with these values in mind.

We are both teachers with advanced degrees and were born and raised in Maryland. We live in a large single family home in a rural setting with a big yard in one of the best school districts in Maryland! We have very nice neighbors and are only a short drive from a town.

Both sets of our parents live locally and we see them regularly. They are a valuable support system for us and are involved in our lives. Katie’s older sister lives nearby and we have a very close relationship. Jason’s brother, sister in law, niece and nephew recently moved out of state, but we keep in touch with them via phone/video chat. There is a great family that lives next door with similar aged children. Finally, we have a variety of friends that we connect with and many of whom have young children as well.

In our free time we enjoy playing golf, though we are still learning how to improve our game. We enjoy playing with our son and spending time with our families on the weekends. Our son likes to play in the backyard on the swing/playhouse, help us “drive” the tractor or help with yard work. We enjoy going to the library or local events on weekends. We live in the central Maryland area so we are close to a variety of activities and opportunities.

Hello mom, and thank you for taking some time to meet our family. You have, no doubt, a difficult choice before you, and we are so grateful that you are considering us as an option. We don’t know you yet, but we would like to get to know you. Let us tell you about our family. We are currently three; Liam (dad), Kensi (mom), and Nova (princess). We have always wanted a full family, but pregnancy with Nova was very difficult. We ourselves had a difficult choice; do we try for another pregnancy and risk mom or baby’s health, or do we adopt and attempt to navigate a family that is unconventional? Adoption won out. We believe that love does not always look like perfect fairy tale endings. We believe that sometimes, oftentimes, love costs the one who loves greatly, but love always has the best interest of another at heart. We decided that if there are mothers who are brave enough to yield their baby to another for the sake of the baby, then we could be brave enough to be a part of that love. We are tremendously excited to share our lives with another child. We know the love that Christ has for all his children. We are very involved in our church and close to our small group. We often are with them playing board games, roasting s’mores, or playing with our kids together. We love to go hiking, camping, anything outdoorsy, traveling, eating and making good food, and spending time together as a family. We are the parents who will love our children first and foremost, no matter what. We are the parents that will be at every game or event cheering our child on embarrassingly loud. We promise, as potential parents for your baby, to:
-Teach them about the love of Jesus.
-Spend quality family time together.
-Guide and correct them as they grow.
-Teach that there are consequences for our actions (both positive and negative).
-Lead by example by showing them how to be kind, love others, and serve.
-Embrace their heritage and learn about it together.
-Always ensure they feel wanted, loved, secure, valued, and needed.
And
-To teach them that we (Liam and Kensi) and you (mom reading this) love them so much that we created this relationship centered around them.
We know this is a difficult spot for you. We wish we could be there with you now and hugging you through this decision. If you decide to choose us, our first response will be praying and thanking the Lord for you. Your bravery and sacrifice will be appreciated and honored here. We promise to give everything we have to raise loving humans. We promise to keep educating ourselves to be the best parents. Most of all, we promise to love your baby with our entire heart for all of our lives. Thank-you for considering the Terry family.

It's time to bring Olakunle home!

On September 1, 2022 our family legally grew! We finalized adoption of our son Olakunle in Nigeria. We spend 2 months living together as a family in Nigeria and made many memories. We had to leave Nigeria on October 13, 2022 to return to the United States to file Olakunle's immigration paperwork. Leaving him in Nigeria was the most painful thing our family has ever experienced. We were fortunate that his orphanage is filled with absolute angels, and we were able to have video calls with him every week. We waited several long months, wishing, praying and hoping for good news. On Monday March 27, 2023 we got the good news that his immigration file was approved! It is time for us to travel back to Nigeria and bring Olakunle home. We appreciate all of the love and support we have received from our family and friends. If you are able to and would like to help us with travel costs as well as some items for his orphanage, please consider donating. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts - Stephen, Kayleigh, Rhett & Olakunle

It's time to bring Olakunle home!

On September 1, 2022 our family officially grew as we legalized adoption of Olakunle in Lagos Nigeria. This was such a special day for our family. We spent 2 months living in Nigeria together and our family bonded and made many memories. The worst day of our lives was October 13, 2022. This is the day we had to return to the United States to file Immigration paperwork for Olakunle so he could come home. We left Africa with half of our hearts on the other side of the world. We were so fortunate that Ola has so many angels taking care of him and we get to video call him every week. We received the best news on Monday March 27th, 2023 - our little boy's immigration paperwork has been approved and we will travel as soon as we have a date for his Visa appointment at the US Consulate in Lagos, Nigeria! Our family is asking for some help with travel expenses this time around, if you are able. We appreciate all of the love and support we have had throughout this long journey and we cannot wait to have Olakunle home with us!

Arnold's, party of... SIX!!!!

We are ADOPTING FROM INDIA!

Four years ago we were certain that we only wanted two children; but you know what they say, "Make plans and God laughs."
After our surprise third pregnancy, God began to work on our hearts that maybe we were meant to have the bigger family we had decided against. And then God began to warm our hearts to adoption...

With so many children around the world needing a home (140 MILLION worldwide), and recently being blessed with our new country homestead, we know we have been blessed to bless others.
For months I (Megan) have felt like a child was missing. I would count heads, and even when everyone was there, felt like I had missed counting someone. There is a hole in our heart and an empty seat at our table.

And then there's the matter of Leah (our 5yr old daughter), who has been praying for a sister for as long as she's had two brothers. With faith like a child she has been praying in certainty that God is sending her a baby sister from India.

Reid was the slowest to warm, and now the most certain that this is God's plan for our family. We find ourselves laying in bed at night ,daydreaming about our daughter, praying for her, wondering how she'll mold into our family, and being so excited to bring her home.

We have stepped out in MASSIVE FAITH, knowing that an India adoption could come at the cost of $35,000+, but knowing that God's people will join us to fill in the financial gaps and help us bring our daughter home, Even early on we have already seen God begin to move in mighty ways, and can't wait to share with you how God shows His faithfulness through His people.
Thank you in advance for your prayers and for what you feel led to give to bless a child in need of a family.

WE LOVE YOU and are thankful for you!
In His Grip,
Reid, Megan, Andrew, Leah and Seth Arnold
