1 and Spouse Name
We are so excited to announce that we will be growing our family through adoption.
The Lord called us to this exciting new chapter September 3019. We took our own lead and decided to go through foster to adopt because this is the easiest way to achieve what we had a vision for. We were near completion when we felt the Lord was telling us to pull back. Without a shadow of a doubt, we got up and walked away. Even after all the hard work and money we put into it, we knew honoring God above all things was more important than anything we could ever accomplish.
About a week later the Lord spoke over us and gave us peace about our decision. The Lord placed private adoption on our hearts and we were told not to limit what God can do, who God can use or what God can provide for. We didn't know how God was going to provide for this huge expense but we know He will provide every last penny we need, in the exact moment we need it. We see Him in all the details and we continue to see him through this whole process. We know that the Lord has adopted us into his eternal family and we want to do the same.
James 1:27 says “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”
This verse was the one that made us know we wanted to adopt. The Bible makes the mission quite clear, we are to love and take care of one another. A call to Christians to take on the mission of making sure that every child is taken care of. Our heart for adoption is to raise them with the foundation of God, guide them and love them as Jesus is doing for us. Giving them all the things they need to survive a world we are not made for. Giving them a home where they know they are safe, loved, cared for and prayed over.
We ask for your prayers, specifically for the strength and endurance through this tough process. Prayers for our future birth mom, that she would know her worth in the Lord. Prayers for our future baby, protection around them.
If you feel led give or donate to us, we would be so blessed by that.
We appreciate your prayers & thoughts for us.
