Hello! We are Andrew and Jennel. It's been a long and winding road that brought us to where we are today. We have been married for 6 ½ years, and it has been quite a journey! We knew we wanted to start a family pretty quickly, but soon found out that it wasn’t going to be as easy as we originally thought.
In the midst of several years of fertility treatments, God laid it on our hearts to become foster parents. In December of 2017, we were approved as foster parents and a newborn baby girl, Jasmine, was placed with us until her parents could provide a home for her. The next two years were a roller coaster of emotions as we were unsure whether she would leave or stay. In December of 2019, Jasmine officially joined our family as our forever daughter.
In January of 2020, we heard about embryo adoption for the first time. It immediately resonated with us. We can continue to grow our family through adoption AND experience a pregnancy together! God works in amazing ways, and we’re so excited for this new opportunity! We love having Jasmine as our daughter, but our family is not complete. We cannot wait for the day we add the next member (or two!) to our family through embryo adoption.
