The Story of Us and why we are adopting
We have decided to grow our family through adoption as we are not able to
have children naturally due to a medical condition. Leah was diagnosed with
epilepsy when she was in middle school, and one of her biggest triggers for
seizures is hormones. She is on medication to help with hormone levels. As well
she has been on medications that are not safe for pregnancy for either the baby
or herself. She has been seizure free for over 10 years thanks to amazing doctors
that she continues to make sure her epilepsy is under control and do not see any
future problems for them to become parents. We got married in June 2024 and
are excited to become parents through adoption.
