Brittany's Adoption Journey

Family has always been central to my life. Growing up as the oldest of six children and becoming "Aunt NayNay" to ten incredible nieces and nephews, I’ve watched my family grow with so much joy. Over the years, my heart for adoption grew as I saw close friends build their families through domestic, international, and foster care adoptions. Through much prayer, counsel, and reflection, I felt a deep, confident calling to build my own family through domestic infant adoption and step into the adventure of motherhood.

To guide me through this process, I partnered with Adoption Network Law Center (ANLC) because of their ethical commitment to birth mothers, ensuring they receive lifelong care, counseling, and support, as well as their national reach and established legal protections. I am currently completing my home study, background clearances, and adoptive family profile so that I can be ready to connect with an expectant mother when the time comes.

Because adoption is a significant financial investment, costing roughly $50,000 for legal fees, birth mother support, agency costs, and travel, I am actively pursuing grants, extra contract work, and personal savings. I am using AdoptionBridge because adoption is not a journey meant to be walked alone. This platform allows me to invite a community of family, friends, and supporters to partner with me through prayer, encouragement, and financial support as I take each step toward welcoming a child into a loving home.
