Family is extremely important to us. Having children has always been part of our plan and dream for our future. We understand the commitment it takes to develop and nurture forever relationships. We have struggled to grow our family naturally and through medical intervention, but we feel that our journey to parenting has made our family bond stronger and we feel more capable and competent as first-time parents to-be. With the support of our family and friends we feel blessed to have an opportunity at parenting through the miracle of adoption.
Alan and Jessica met as colleagues in 2007. In 2016, we started preparing to grow our family, after trying for a while and nothing happening we decided to see a specialist in 2018. Expanding our family via traditional and medical methods have not worked out as we hoped. As of now we are not interested in investing more into medical treatments because genetics do not make a family, love does.
We are using Adoption Bridge in hopes that working with a non-profit will encourage our family and friends to donate as they can potentially use this as a tax write-off. We also like that we don't have to handle any of the money, that it all goes directly to the agency. As well this is another avenue of marketing for birth parents seeking forever families for their child.
