Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

***UPDATE***We received our special angel on August 18th! He is very precious and very loved. God is so good and faithful in bringing him to us and providing for us along the way. Please pray that we have the grace each day to care for his many needs and help him become the best version of himself he can be.

We are the Hudgens family!

Back in October of 2020, we began our adoption journey.  We had what seemed like a TON of paperwork to fill out, 20 hours of education to accomplish, background checks, home visits by our case worker, and lastly a family profile book to create for birth families to view.  We have finally arrived after all these months, and we are now registered with the National Down Syndrome Adoption Network! We acknowledge that not all families feel they have the resources to raise a child with special needs. Our heart is that we may be a family's solution to a difficult circumstance.   We believe all children are a blessing from the Lord and created by Him. 

 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. Psalm 139:13-16

Please, if you feel led, contribute to our adoption costs. We will have adoption agency fees, lawyer fees, and there will be medical expenses.  We also will need to travel to the place of our baby's birth, and possibly stay there for 2 weeks.  God has led us this far, and we know He will provide! If you don't feel you can contribute, please pray for us!
