We would like to start off by saying a humble thank you for taking the time to read our story. We are Callen and Melanie. We know this is a challenging time for you while you are trying to decide on the best option for you and your sweet baby. We pray that you feel loved and cherished. As prospective adoptive parents we want to be a source of support for you. We live in Fort Worth, Texas. We have been married for five years and have two biological children, Remi (age 3) and Brooks (18 months). We felt a calling to have a third child and God placed adoption on our hearts. One of our closest friends was adopted and Callen’s stepdad was raised in an orphanage. Adoption has always been important to our family. As a family we love the outdoors, traveling, attending football, hockey and baseball games, dancing around the house, listening to music, family game nights, summer days at the lake and skiing in the winter. We love spending time with our friends and family. We are fortunate enough to live in the same town as our immediate and extended families. Family is very important to us and we love that our children are able to grow up around so many of their cousins. Callen works as a landman in oil and gas and Melanie is a physician assistant in orthopedic surgery. We are members of Highridge Church and are blessed that there is a large community of adoptive parents within our church family. We promise to respect you and whatever level of openness and contact that you wish to have. As adoptive parents we promise to love your child with all of our hearts and to provide them with a life that is full of love, laughter, joy and every opportunity possible. We know this is a difficult time and we support you. We cannot truly grasp the various emotions you are experiencing but please know that we are here to help in any way we can.
