Hi my name is Sam and I am 29 years old. I have a wonderful husband Chris who is 30 and together we have a beautiful 5 year old dog named Homer. Chris and I have been together for the past 8 years and married for 6. We have always wanted a family and began trying as soon as we were married. Unfortunately God hasn’t blessed us with any children.
When I was 17 I was diagnosed with PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome. Because of this I always knew it would be hard to naturally conceive. About 2 years ago after much trying and testing we found out that we were left with the options of IVF or adoption. After much soul searching and prayer we decided we would rather put our time and resources into bringing a child waiting for a home into our family versus having a genetic child.
As our adoption journey began we discovered Snowflakes and embryo adoption. This seemed the best of everything! We could give an embryo who is frozen waiting for life and a family a home and we could still have the experience of being pregnant and giving birth!
Chris and I have spent the last 10 months getting prepared and going through the extensive application and home study process. We have been paying for the adoption as we can but unfortunately we have depleted our savings and are now at the most exciting albeit expensive part of the process. We are ready to be matched and do the embryo transfer!
We are saving and applying for grants and loans but any and all money donated here will go directly to our adoption costs and will be beyond appreciated! We pray to be able to build our family soon and know with your help our dream will come true.
