We are Jose and Katy Baez, and our dog Marley.
We talked about having children even in our first month of dating! Even discussing adoption if that may be an option for us. After our first year of marriage and a diagnosis of infertility, we knew our path of adding to our family, was through adoption.
We began looking for adoption agencies just as the Covid pandemic hit, which obviously made the process more drawn out. Finally finding the best agency for us, Nightlight. Even through the last couple of years of the pandemic, we have steadily made progress getting our adoption education completed, adoption photo album made and homestudy with the social worker approved!
We really have grown as a couple through this adoption process and it has strengthened our marriage, we are beyond excited to enter the next stage of being matched with a birth mother!
