Domestic Adoption

Thank you for taking the time to learn about us, and for considering us as part of your child’s journey. We are goofy, playful, adventurous people, and we are excited to add to our family! We respect this difficult decision you face, and we pray for a blessing of confidence and comfort for you in this process.

We met at the gym in our church. It was not love at first sight, but we realized we were perfect for each other once we started dating. We were engaged in less than two months!

We have struggled to add to our family. The closeness we’ve gained through infertility has made our marriage strong. We know how to comfort each other and make each other laugh - even in the hard times.

Our best memories have been made doing ministry together. We had the privilege to move to Kenya in 2015 as missionaries. Working with orphaned children in our village was a blessing, and it increased our desire to help children when we moved back to the States.

In the last few years, our ministry has taken us a different route. George is now a Chaplain in the US Army! We live on an Army post, and our neighborhood is full of young families. There are playgrounds everywhere! One of them is directly behind our house, with a walking trail beside it. Helicopter pilots train here and there is always something to see in the sky!

The reality of our military life is that we will move about every 3 years. The communities all have the same feel and it’s easy to make friends. We love to travel, and it’s an adventure exploring the world as a family!

We want to train our child to rely on the Lord and have faith in Him. We want to encourage them to do and be whoever the Lord calls them to be for His glory.

We are open to trans-racial adoption. The Army is a very diverse community. We plan to find books, songs, and foods to try as your child is learning their history. We’ll make sure we educate ourselves as much as we can for when the questions start coming.

We hope to send letters and pictures, and to have a yearly visit. The reality of our military life is we may not always live close enough for more visits, but we will always try to build a strong relationship with you.

We promise to pray for you both, and to teach your child to seek the Lord. We promise to give them a safe and peaceful home with lots of laughter. We will seek out opportunities for your child to know and love you. Thank you again for learning about us. We hope to meet you soon!
