Dear Expectant Mother and Family,
We are thankful for your time to get to know us and to look at our profile. Even your consideration of adoption is commendable as you weigh out what will be best for your child’s future. Although we can’t say we know what you are going through, we can certainly empathize with the fact that there may be a lot of uncertainty and difficulty you may be experiencing as you walk through this pregnancy and decision-making process. Regardless of whether you choose our family or not, we pray you would choose life. We are also praying for your family, friends, and conversations you may need to have with loved ones during this time and for their understanding.
Adoption has been on our hearts since we were dating and talking about the prospect of marriage and building a family. We were always confident that adoption was a way that God would call us to grow our family. We now know, after being told a pregnancy would be high risk for a child, that God is calling us to adoption for our first child. We think this is an amazing opportunity for an adopted child in our family to truly be the first to build our family.
Chris has spent most of his career in the trades but will graduate with his degree in project management. in Spring of 2024. He currently works with an HVAC manufacturer and service provider as a Client Service Representative and is actively interviewing for roles within in his company as a project manager or account manager. Alyson is a degreed art educator who has had various art education positions in the public school system over the years. She now teaches art for a homeschool co-op and works part-time as sustitute teacher in our local school district as we try to set a precedent for her to available to home for childcare.
We live about 20 minutes away from both of our parents, and they live about 10 minutes from each other. Chris’ two sisters and Alyson’s brother also live very near to everyone, so we are with family very frequently. Our Christian faith is what we would consider our most important defining quality. The faith, trust, and hope we have in Christ is something we would be honored to share with your child by providing a loving home.
