Jason Wogomon and Stephanie Acosta met in June 19, 2003. Stephanie had graduated from high school a week prior while Jason was just getting ready to complete his high school experience. They attended college, all while developing their relationship and furthering their relationship with God. In 2010 they got engaged and on May 14, 2011 they got married and became Mr and Mrs Wogomon. They both had dreams to grow their family however realized early on that this journey would not be struggle free. 3 years of infertility treatment proved to be unsuccessful. It was really hard to see dreams of a family, which was held very high, come crashing down. In 2014 we decided we would try and foster to adopt however learned that this, too, was not an easy journey. We tried other avenues as well, however, due to finances, were not able to fulfill. In 2015, however, in the midst of our adoption process, we were sent a blessing in disguise; a friend of ours needed a family. In 2018 we were able to adopt our daughter, Lynette, whom is now 23 years old and we continue to work on building our family. Our families motto is Ohana means family- family means no one gets left behind or forgotten. Our family has gone through many struggles however we work hard to hold onto hope, love and faith. We will fight for what we have and the family that is waiting for us. We thank you for reading our story and we hope and pray that you can help us fund our adoption. Adoption is expensive and is a value that we hold close to our hearts.
