Adoption has always been on our radar. Scott's love of different cultures planted a love for kids deep within his heart. One of our first conversations was about kids; we love the adoptive heart of God and want to live that out in our home. Because we married in our late 20s, we started trying to have a family pretty quickly. We struggled with infertility for four years before becoming pregnant. The pregnancy didn't go as planned, and we ended up saying goodbye to our sweet Gideon soon after his early arrival. As we grieved the loss of our son, God gently rebuilt our hope for a family. We were once again drawn towards adoption, ready to take the next step.
