Life with the Lakers!

Hi, we're Josh and Kate! We want to start by thanking you for taking the time to learn more about us. We understand your situation may not be easy, but please know that we are praying for you now, even before meeting you.

Adoption is near to our hearts for a few reasons. One is that Josh’s mom was adopted! We are excited, knowing that the child God blesses us with has someone already in the family who will be able to relate to them and share about their journeys. Second, there are so many beautiful truths about adoption in the Bible and we are thankful to be a part of it.

These past few years, we have grown closer to one another through our struggle with infertility. Although it has been extremely challenging, God has used it to grow and cultivate our marriage. We have grown closer than we could have imagined and are confident that God gives us the strength and courage to endure anything we may face. We are firm believers that He has a plan for each and every one of us. Any precious little one(s) God places in our home will be loved immensely, not only by us, but also by our church community, friends, parents, and siblings.
