Hello!

We are Jeremy and Jordan, and we live in Georgia. One of our favorite fun facts is that Jeremy grew up on the same road where Jordan's very first childhood home was located. Even with that small-town connection, we somehow didn't meet until we were adults. We've been together since 2019 and married since 2021.

Our marriage began during one of life's more challenging seasons. We got married in the middle of the COVID pandemic while also caring for our dog as she battled brain cancer. It wasn't easy. There were times we questioned our faith and struggled to understand God's plan, but looking back, we can see how those experiences strengthened our marriage and taught us to trust Him through life's uncertainties.

In 2022, just one year into our marriage, Jordan was diagnosed with endometriosis and adenomyosis and underwent a hysterectomy. That closed one path to parenthood, but it also gave us the opportunity to reflect on what we truly wanted for our future. We realized we were already incredibly blessed. If our family remained just the two of us, we knew we'd have a wonderful life together. At the same time, we knew our hearts had room for more. We believed we could provide a safe, joyful, and stable home for a child.

Long before we knew this would become part of our story, God had already placed adoption on Jordan's heart. Through many conversations, prayers, and time, that calling became something we both wholeheartedly shared.

We've been incredibly blessed by the example our families have set. Between our parents, stepparents, and siblings, we've seen firsthand that family isn't defined by biology. It's built through love, commitment, and showing up for one another. Growing up in families that blended together so naturally taught us that love isn't divided. It only grows. That example has shaped the way we hope to build our own family.

Life around here is anything but quiet thanks to our three dogs: Dooley, Daisy, and Ducky. They're wild, fun, and bring plenty of chaos to our home every day, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We can't wait to watch them become part of our future child or children's childhood.

We are currently pursuing adoption through two domestic adoption programs and are open to welcoming up to two children into our home. So many friends and family members have asked how they can support us, which is why we created this page through AdoptionBridge. We have been blessed to prepare financially for adoption ourselves, but adoption often comes with significant and unexpected expenses.
