Daniel and Shelley's Adoption Story

God started our story a long time ago when we were born. Our names are Daniel and Shelley and we have been married since 2008. With sadness, we had a miscarriage and have been unable to conceive children after that. God led us to add to our family through foster care and adoption. We were blessed to have Libby become part of our family in 2012. She is now a teenager and is excited to become a good role model for a little brother or sister. In the Spring of 2020, God again stirred our hearts to adopt and we have taken action to begin the process and are awaiting to see God's plan for adding to our family. We know that we are called to start loving our future little one by sacrificing and preparing to care for this child. We look forward to the continued joy of being parents and are excited to see God's work that will allow us to demonstrate God's love and care for us by mirroring this in our care of another child. We are excited that our adopted children (current and future) will always be a part of our forever family.

As we move through this journey, we appreciate any support you can provide us. Please pray for our journey, that God will bring us the child he desires to be a part of our home and that He will provide the needs of the birth family and us as the process occurs. If you choose to donate toward our adoption, we praise God for the provision and thank you for your part in His work in our family.

We know and trust that Jesus Christ will provide and guide our adoption story to reflect the greatest adoption story of all time, God's adoption of His children (Romans 8:14-17).
