Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for your help in supporting our adoption journey! We have exciting news! After years of researching we signed with a local Christian Adoption Agency in Sepetember and just completed our home study! We are so excited to be at this point in our journey! Curtis and I share the common dream of becoming parents in the near future. I (Bailey) am a Brain Tumor survivor. One of the unfortunate complications/side effects of having undergone surgery to remove the tumor (resulting in the removal of the pituitary gland as well) is infertility. We are unable to have children biologically, however, we are excited that through adoption we can fulfill our dream of becoming parents.  We strongly feel like this is God’s chosen path for us and we are excited to be at this point in our lives. Currently we are pursuing domestic infant adoption (adopting an infant within the United States as there are so many children are in need in our own country).  The cost of adoption/adoption process (for an infant) in California is ~$30,00-$45,000. Each unique path to adoption varies in price depending on agency, location, attorney fees, medical expenses, etc. We have been working multiple jobs and making financial sacrifices to help save for this journey and we will also be holding various fundraisers  to raise money as well.
