Ryan and I have been married for 7 1/2 years and have a 6 year old son named Colt. We lost our baby girl in utero in October 2015. Her name was Collins. Losing her made us realize just how much we wanted another child and we also realized how much love we had to give.
Shortly after the loss of our daughter, a man spoke at our church. He spoke about orphans and how we are called as Christians to be "fathers to the fatherless" and we truly feel like that is what God wants for our family. This man has a ministry in Uganda and we just got back from Kampala last week! (December 2016)
We fell in love with Uganda and it's beautiful people. We plan on spending a lot of time there over the years to come.
