Brendan and Whitney- The Faithfulness of The Lord Endures Forever

Brendan and I met 8 years ago after working VBS together at the church my family attended. We immediately became friends and started dating shortly after. It was like God knew we needed each other then. We have been married almost 7 years (this May). When Brendan was born he had a few birth defects that affected him and he had been told he may not be able to have any children. We have not been successful trying naturally to have children of our own, but knew going into marriage this may be the case.

Watching family and friends around us conceive and grow their families on their own has been very joyous, but also very difficult for us both. Through this the Lord has been our strength and we feel we are ready to follow His call. Adoption has been a thought and discussion since the beginning as a way to grow our family. Recently it has really been on our minds and hearts to begin the adoption process. We have found a great Christian agency and are starting the process to hopefully adopt a child from Colombia!

Please join us in prayer us as we start this new journey and continue to wait for our child to come into our hearts and home. Pray God will open the doors that need to be open, and for his provisions on finances to be where we need them to be.

His faithfulness has not failed us and continues to endure even now: “For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord.” Psalm 117:2
