Baumgartner Adoption - Otra Vez (Again!)

After an infertility diagnosis, our hearts still desired a family. The natural next step for us was adoption. We wanted to provide a safe, encouraging, and loving home to a child who did not have the fortune of a family. The adoption of our son Mateo from Colombia in August of 2018 gave us the chance to extend an opportunity to a child in need – to raise him up with the emotional, physical, and financial support to grow and flourish. Since becoming a family, we have experienced incredible joy. Witnessing Mateo’s physical and mental growth, seeing his personality develop, watching him build relationships with family and friends, providing him with health care, a safe environment, encouragement, love, and new experiences, has ignited in us a passion to adopt again. A child is so deserving of all these things and we are excited to start the adoption journey again. We both have one sibling each and cherished growing up with a constant companion. We desire the same for Mateo and he has expressed his excitement for a sibling. We can't wait for round two!
