Adam and Jillian Adopt

We have very exciting news!! We’re adopting!! 

If you are wanting to be a part of what God is doing with our family, this is how you can walk alongside us on this journey: 

1.) Pray! Join us in praying for the precious birth family and child that God has for our family.  Please pray that the birth family would know how deeply loved they are by Jesus. Please pray for strength and wisdom and courage for the birth family, particularly the birth parents, as they make difficult decisions. Please pray for the health and safety of the birth mother and child during childbirth, and for a wise and compassionate hospital staff during the delivery and postpartum stage. Please pray for the heart of the child who will join our family, as they have no voice in this process, and it will affect them deeply. Please pray that our hearts would be open to hear God’s voice and leading in this process. Please pray that we would exude love and grace and mercy in all of our interactions with the birth family. And please pray for the hearts of Josiah, Evangeline and Naomi as they will be adjusting to getting a new little sibling. 

2.) Check in! We’d love it if you checked in on us during this journey and after our child is home. Having you walk alongside us means more than you may ever know! We feel so blessed to have such loving and supportive family and friends. 

3.) Partner! If you believe God is leading you to partner with us financially in the tremendous cost of this adoption, please read on. We have set a goal of raising $10,000 (⅓ of the adoption costs). To do this, we need approximately 200 people to join us by donating $50 or more. (However any amount of financial support is an incredibly generous gift that will be immensely appreciated.) To forever include those who helped us bring our child home, we will be piecing together a 1000 piece puzzle to frame and hang in the child’s room. For every $10 that is donated, one puzzle piece (with the name of the person donating) will be added to the puzzle, with the hope of meeting our $10,000 goal by December 2019.
