Hello!
Our names are Matt and Angie, and we thank you for taking the time to learn more about us! We are happy to share our story, and we're excited to be building our family through adoption!
We know you are facing a hard decision. We can't begin to understand all of our emotions and questions, but it's ok to feel overwhelmed, nervous, and uncertain of what is ahead. We too, have experienced such a variety of emotions throughout this journey.
Angie's aunt and uncle adopted two children from South Korea, and her whole family welcomed those sweet babies graciously! Matt has always pictured himself adopting. It was just something that felt right to him. Our extended families are so excited for us!
We live in Denver, Colorado. We have been married for 4 years, together for 7 years. We love living in this beautiful, scenic state because the weather is awesome and there is so much to do here! We love being out in nature and discovering new places.
Our path to parenthood hasn't been easy, and life definitely threw us some curve balls. We weren't able to conceive on our own and have unsuccessfully completed two rounds of IVF. We knew deep in our hearts we could not give up and were meant to be called Mom and Dad someday. Knowing there was still another way, we started researching adoption. Maybe this was supposed to be our path after all; we just needed time to find it.
We don't know why if has been difficult for us but so easy for others to have a baby, but we know we are right where we're supposed to be now. We've been given second and third chances to become parents, and for that we are grateful.
We have opened up our hearts to you, and we respect your decisions to come. We want you to feel loved and supported, and ultimately choose what is best for you and your baby. Should you feel we would be a good match, we are happy to have an open relationship with you. We will honor your comfort level, but would send pictures and letters if you desired. We would truly love your child like our own.
