Dear Expectant Mama:

We are honored to meet you, even if it's just on this website for now. We know this is a difficult time for you as you consider what the best option is for your child. We have great respect and admiration for you as you explore whether adoption is the right choice for you and your baby.

We are John and Jeanna. We both grew up in Northern California and then migrated to Southern California for school and work. We met through mutual friends at church in 2013 and immediately hit it off. We found that we could talk to each other easily - nothing was forced. We discovered that we share a love of trying new restaurants, watching Star Wars and Marvel movies as well as all the DIY home improvement shows, and cooking together. We got married in 2014 just shy of two years of being together. Early in our marriage we learned that biological children were not going to be in the cards for us. Infertility brought us to adoption, but we wouldn’t change anything since adoption gave us our daughter, Eliyah, in 2018. Eliyah is a brave, creative, curious little girl. She’s getting ready to start Pre-K where she is eager to learn how to read and write. She is also excited about the possibility of becoming a big sister. We live in a neighborhood full of tree-lined streets and warm, welcoming neighbors. We love to spend time in our backyard pool, working on home improvement projects, and sneaking down to the beach as often as we can. We have an amazing support system of family, friends, and neighbors who are eagerly anticipating bringing a new child into our family.
