Dear Birthmother,

Thank you so much for being the first person to love this child, for providing them with a safe home in your womb, and thinking about their needs before even your own. Thank you for being so selfless and brave. My husband and I are so excited for you to consider us to welcome your child into the family via adoption. We met in college and have been married for 16 years. He works for a technology company and I taught middle and high school art until I decided to stay home after the birth of our first child. We now have two biological sons, age 4 and 2 and I love being able to stay home with them. We homeschool, craft, play outside, and enjoy our church family. We  are very involved in our local church where  I teach a toddler choir, help with youth groups, and teach art camps. My husband serves as a church deacon. We love raising our kids in our church family where they have many kids to play and grow with, and many adults who teach them about Jesus and all He has done for them. 

 I (Alyssa) was adopted as an infant and have always known that the Lord would call me to adopt one day and I consider it an honor to take what I have learned through my own adoption and the process of developing relationships with my birth mom and biological siblings, and help another child go through their own adoption journey. 

Our family lives in SC and enjoys traveling, visiting national parks and gardens, the beach and the mountains. We have a favorite beach house and our parents have a house in the NC mountains where we can enjoy time as a family. We love going to museums, the zoo, playgrounds, music performances, and anywhere that allows the kids to run around and explore. At home, the boys enjoy cooking, gardening, crafting, playing with cars and trucks,and ukulele lessons. We are blessed to have a large family who all live nearby and waiting and excited to love a new little one whenever the Lord provides.
