Our story began with a spark we never could have imagined. What started as a fun joke grew into a friendship filled with laughter becoming the foundation we build our life on today. We got married in October 2016, and since then we have created a life rooted in faith, friendship, humor, and the kind of everyday joy that grows through simple yet meaningful moments. The rhythm of our home is filled with music playing while we prepare dinner, spontaneous dance parties because the moment feels fun, and laughter woven naturally throughout our days. We’re the kind of couple who can’t pass up a glowing sunset without stopping, who wander wherever the road leads, and who linger under starlit skies to catch the quiet wonder that awakens the heart and makes life feel even more alive.
Eric grew up in a small farming community where early mornings, hard work, and caring for animals were part of everyday life. That upbringing shaped a deep sense of responsibility and compassion that led him into veterinary medicine. He continues to care for animals with steady dedication and a lot of heart. Kristy grew up in a close-knit small town surrounded by family, traditions, and the outdoors. That foundation shaped her love for people, connection, and creativity leading her into leadership and fashion.
From the very beginning of our marriage becoming parents has always been part of our dream. When our path became more complex through life’s journey and infertility, it changed us, but not in ways that took away hope. Instead, it softened us, deepened our compassion, and strengthened the foundation we stand on together. Even in the hardest moments we held onto a steady belief that we are meant to love a child. That belief is what led us to you.
The home we look to build for a child is one filled with abundant love, warmth, and a safe space to explore the world. Laughter echoing through the room, adventures, and quiet moments where we slow down to walk beside them through every stage of life. More than anything, we want them to always know they are celebrated for exactly who they are and the story they hold. Our family and friends have walked closely with us through every season. A child in our home will be embraced by our community who are ready to support them every step of the way.
