After years of infertility, hope and disappointment, God has opened up the door for us to adopt. We have made it through our home study (AHH! Can you believe!?) and our profile is being shown to expectant parents. We're just waiting for a mother to choose us! We hope to bring a child into our lives, doting on them and raising them in a family that is honest and hardworking, in a home of laughter and discovery.

Adoption costs about $40,000. As mind-blowing as that is, we know that our God has directed us here and He will provide. With that said, we have set a goal of trying to raise $10,000 to help offset the cost.

Every single dollar matters and makes a huge difference. If everyone who saw this gave $16 we would be at our goal of $10,000. We are beyond overwhelmed and thankful for you and the impact you will have on our family through this, and wish we could squeeze you in the biggest hug.

 

A clear breakdown of costs:

$500 - Agency Application - PAID

$800 - Profile Payment (includes a questionnaire you fill out to help the agency match you with birth parents who might want to view your profile, as well as the profile for them to view) - PAID

$150 - Profile Book (a hard copy book for birth parents to view) - PAID

$1800 - Home Study - PAID

$10,000 - Due at placement (when you bring a baby home)

$1,500 - an estimated amount for travel to go to and pick baby up

$10,000 - Due at the time parental rights are terminated by the birth parents (about three months after placement)

$15,000 - an estimated amount for lawyer and court fees

$900 - Three Post Placement Supervision Reports (government requirement to make sure baby and parents are adjusting well)
