A Safe and Loving Home: Adopting My God daughter and Her Sister

Life has been unimaginably hard for my goddaughter and her sister. Nearly four years ago, they lost their father—my uncle—and just last year, their mother passed away, leaving them as orphans. Since their father’s passing, I have been caring for them, stepping into a parental role to provide them with love, stability, and guidance. Despite the challenges, I’ve been committed to ensuring they have a sense of family and belonging during such a difficult time.

However, the worsening situation in Haiti has made it increasingly dangerous and uncertain for them to remain there. The growing violence, instability, and lack of resources make it impossible to provide the safety and opportunities they need to thrive. These two beautiful souls deserve more than just survival—they deserve a chance to grow in a nurturing and secure environment.

Adopting my goddaughter and her sister is my way of giving them that chance. I want to bring them home, where they can experience stability, love, and the opportunities that every child deserves. This isn’t just about fulfilling a legal process; it’s about creating a permanent family and giving them a future filled with hope.
