My name is Clare and I am a missionary serving the Lord in West Africa. I have been living and serving here for a little over two years but I first moved to this continent almost 10 years ago. I have had a heart for children with disabilities for as long as I can remember and I have always longed to be a mom. Over the last 10 years I have been praying and hoping to adopt a little girl with Down Syndrome from somewhere on this continent that I have grown to love and call home.
I am pursuing adopting a precious little girl with Down Syndrome who has been waiting for a family in a nearby country to my current home. I am truly amazed at the doors that have already been open thus far in my process. The costs of bringing this precious little one into my family are quite high and as a missionary it isn't possible for me to fund it all on my own. I am so thankful that Adoption Bridge exists because it allows me to share our journey and also invite people into what God is doing in my little corner of the world. I know this sweet girl is worth more than all the time, energy, and finances it will take to bring her home. I pray she one day grows to truly know her preciousness as one of God's beloved children.
