Our adoption journey began as a single moment of clairity and comfort. For a few years, we were ready to start and begin a family and were unsuccessful. Through that process, thoughts of nervousness and guilt surfaced. The source of those feelings were not conventional. As a baby, Tyler underwent cardiac surgery that has progressed with him over his life. The guilt of potentialy passing on a rare and harmful gene to a child lives with him. Through an emotional and unsuccessful period of trying to conceive naturaly, we began to float the idea of adoption. Those conversations were light, usualy surrounded by the notions of "what if", or "can we". It was not until we found ourselves coming home one night from our neices dance recitle, that we felt an overwelming calmness and comfort with the action and decison to adopt. From that moment on, with a little help of some general research, informative meetings, and a PowerPoint presentation that Tyler made on why we felt like we were chosen to be parents who adopted, our eyes and hearts were set and clear for this path to parenthood.

We have been married for almost 3 years and are currently living in Northern Colorado. We enjoy spending time with our familes, a good adventure (even just to the grocery store), movie nights, and any sports game.

We, along with our sweet corgi, Matilda are hoping to grow our family through love and adoption.
