Teed Family Adoption Journey

Hello, we are Scott and Cherie.  Thank you for taking the time to read our story and consider supporting our goal to adopt.

From the beginning, before we were married, we discussed the importance of adoption and we agreed that we wanted to grow our family through adoption in the future. It was always in our plans. 

We welcomed our daughter Annora into the world in 2013 and our son Ronan in 2016. By 2017 we were seeking out agencies and praying for guidance. We signed a contract that year, but we were delayed in finishing our home-study due to some obstacles in life. Thankfully, by the beginning of 2020 we were finally registered for a traditional international adoption with Bulgaria.  We are currently waiting for our match. We hope to find a young sibling group in need of a loving family.  The wait has been long but we continue to trust God’s perfect timing in our adoption journey. 

We worked hard fundraising and saving to cover our initial homestudy and adoption fees.  We have done everything from shoe drives and yard sales to chilli cook-offs and candy sales.  We are thankful to everyone who has helped by supporting our efforts thus far.  

Just for fun here are some things we enjoy doing as a family: 

bike riding, sledding, playing boardgames, fishing, camping, visiting the zoo, movies,  homeschool cooperatives, park play dates, church activities, spending time with grandparents, visiting the beach, going on nature walks, reading together, loving on our kitties, swimming, science experiments and baking. 

Every day is a new adventure we can’t wait to share our adventures with more little blessing!
