2 years, 2 months, and countless days ago, Steve and I began our adoption journey. We began with hope in our hearts and a renewed excitement in our home. But that slowly turned dim as the days turned into months, then months into years. Initial fee’s added up quickly with repayments on the horizon with no baby to call our own. Just as the wind in our sails was fading, we received a telephone call we will never forget. Over joyed and in disbelief our dreams were coming true....quickly. Finally, hope refilled our hearts again and pictures of our new life filled our thoughts. But so did the calls and emails-requestion more money to complete the process. Fears, frustration, and doubts quickly replaced our renewed joy and excitement. Never the less we are hopeful that through love and support of various people and agencies we will bring our darling little girl home to Pennsylvania from California by Christmas.Shell get enjoy her first Christmas in the snow covered mountains. We are hoping for some help with our journey, with plans to pay it forward to help another deserving family.
