Neighborhood Snowflake

Our adoption story really began together when we were in college. We met in college and began dating within a few months of knowing each other. In this time we discussed children extensively. Both of us knew we wanted children and began discussing adoption as an option, and we were both open to the idea of helping to give a child a home regardless of whether or not we could conceive a child ourselves. Cheyenne has always felt the call to adopt well before meeting Ryan, who's call came later. In college, we went on a service learning trip to Kenya where we got the chance to work at local schools and other child care areas. Watching each other work with children that weren't ours but needed love was a solidifying point in our decision to adopt.
Over the years we have been waiting on for the right time to start our adoption process. Cheyenne has poured hours of research and many hours in prayer on which form of adoption was right for us. We didn't know  "snowflake"embryo adoption existed till calling on the phone to ask what programs Nightlight had. At the time we said No. We didn't plan to go the route of having another baby but instead a child. When we opened our mailbox with the large vanilla envelope containing all the programs we wanted to read about from Nightlight. Among the programs was snowflakes. They thought Nightlight sent it by mistake and thought little of it, but a gut feeling was telling them to open it. Cheyenne followed her gut thinking God wanted her to show it to someone. Instead it was meant for us. The more we read and prayed on embryo adoption, the more we felt God leading us towards it.
We are reaching out here on adoption bridge to look for financial assistance in achieving our goal of adoption. We have already put a large sum of our own money into this and just need help with the last leg of our journey. We are reaching out to multiple sources to help raise the money needed.
