More to Love- Adding to the Miwa Family- #2092832

Thank you for taking the time to read our profile and learn about our family. We hope that through this profile you can learn a little bit about our family and consider helping us in our adoption process.

We both grew up in Colorado and met at the same high school. We had several classes together but it wasn't until our senior year that we started dating. Since both of us had committed to different colleges we decided that it would be a "summer fling".  At the end of the summer, we couldn't say goodbye, so we tried a long distance relationship. After the fall semester in college, Bridget transferred so we were at the same college. We dated for the next four years and got married in June 2008. We both knew that we wanted to be parents at some point. After about 5 years of infertility, we found out that we were not able to have biological children, however, that didn't stop us expanding our family! We felt strongly that we were called for adoption. 

Through adoption, we have been blessed with our daughter in 2021. She is the highlight of our lives and we spend all our time together whenever possible. We love spending time together as a family and can't wait to welcome another family member. We are grateful to Maci's birth parents that they chose us to be entrusted with her future. We believe that family is defined by love and not blood.
