Unbeknownst to us, our adoption journey began 5 days after our wedding day August of 2015. Christa was diagnosed with cancer in her uterus and a month an half later had to undergo a hysterectomy. This was most certainly a journey we did not foresee and had to grieve and lean on each other and our Heavenly Father. We are so thankful His ways are good and beyond what we can imagine.

We started our adoption process in 2018 and were so excited. We were matched in 2019, with a beautiful baby girl and stayed with her in the NICU for 3 days but that ended in a failed adoption. That tore us to pieces beyond what we could ever imagine BUT God. God continued to give us dreams and confirmation to continue, so we did. We were matched again in 2020 and so hopeful. We were able to spend another 3 day with the most cuddly baby girl but that ended in a failed adoption as well. With the strength only by God we continued. We knew God was preparing a little one for us specifically. So we persevered. God in His amazing ways blessed us with a baby boy, Aiden James, September of 2020, whom we get the honor of loving every day.

In 2025, God gave us visions once again and has called us to adopt again. This journey is beautiful but also so hard. We've been through many scenarios of what adoption can turn out to be. But one thing we know is our God's ways are the absolute best and we will continue to go on this journey of adoption is excitement and expectation of God's goodness.
