Hill Family Adoption

Our story begins a few months before we started dating, when I, Bethany took a summer mission trip to India. While there, my heart was overcome with love and compassion for the people of this country, as I had the opportunity to interact with numerous children at a children’s home and in multiple poverty-stricken villages. Although they had so little, I remember the children being so grateful for even the smallest things that we were able to give and for the time we spent with them. Shortly after my trip, I got to know my husband Brent and we got married about a year and a half later. Shortly after, we had our beautiful daughter Izzy! When Izzy was 18 months old, we began to see road signs in our area everywhere saying, “We Need Foster Parents!” This tugged at our hearts and we felt that God was calling us to serve families and children in need. Since then, we have had 10 precious children come through our home and we have learned so much about the need of so many kids both here in the United States and around the world that need loving families! We are continuing foster care as a family, but we also have a deep desire to bring a child into our family that we can love and pour into forever! India seemed like the obvious choice for our family after my experience there. We would ask for your prayers and thoughts for both us and our sweet child overseas as we continue this process.
