When Juan and Erica got married, the plan was always to have a large family, mixed with biological children and adopted children of all different races and ethnicities. As an already biracial family, we loved the idea of adopting internationally, and the age of a toddler. Fast forward a few years, we had our biological son, Santiago. Shortly after he was born, we decided to have another child but God had other plans. After four and a half years struggling with secondary infertility, we turned our attention back to adoption. We surrendered our plan to have another biological child around August of 2024.
We saw a little boy's profile in the waiting child list. He stole our hearts but we were still tied up in fertility treatments. God kept pushing him onto my heart and for many months, we prayed over him and whether we were right for each other. Wouldn't you know, this little boy, was everything we had been praying for, for over four years?! We can now say, we are going after him!! Our process is moving fast. We are hopeful we will bring him home the summer of 2026! Will you join us in bringing home our son?? Will you help turn this orphan into a brother and son?

As of September 2024, the doors closed on our adoption country. After many months of praying and grieving, we have decided to move forward in the Colombia program! We are faithfully going after a sweet little boy. He is absolutely beautiful and is craving a family of his own. We cannot wait to meet him, hopefully summer of 2026!
We have re-opened our funding as we have a $12k goal to raise. Thank you so much for your prayers and support!
We are still awaiting our official approval from our sons country. It is a slow process but we are faithful. We are switching our donation collections over to Gofundme, Zelle and Venmo, as our agency fees are now fully funded!
We are approved through USCIS to adopt in Malawi. We are now in the final stages of accepting our referral, submitting the dossier and awaiting our court date! We are so excited!"
