Happiness from Heartbreak

We married in 2019. Our desire to bring a child of our own into our family resulted in 7 heart-breaking miscarriages over 4 years, and that pregnancy is no longer medically possible.

Through adoption, we are blessed with the opportunity to be able to bring another child into our family from South Africa. We are humbled and excited to impact the life of a young child in need of their forever family.

We began this amazing, and frustrating, adoption process in October of 2023. After an agonizing wait, we received our I-800A (U.S. adoption approval) notice in April of 2025. Now, in November of 2025, we are excited to have a child identified for us and are on the verge of a very exciting match. This remarkable young boy has been in a foster home since March of 2022, at the age of 9 months. Now, at 4.5 years old, we're excited to meet him and start the transition to his forever home.

International adoption is very expensive. Helping offset some of the costs for domestic and international legal expenses, travel, and stay accomodations would be amazing and humbling.
