Getting to Baby Grizzle

"For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, 'Abba! Father!'" - Romans 8:14-15 

Hi! We are Josh and Meredith Grizzle. We have been married for almost 7 years, and praying and yearning for a child of our own for almost 6 years. We have always felt a calling to adoption, even as individuals before we met. We pictured adoption as part of our lives after our potential biological children were young children, but infertility entered the picture instead. 
No one ever expects infertility to effect them, and we were no different. It's something I (Meredith) had thought of in passing because of course it is always a possibility, but we assumed like any other newly wed couple that it wouldn't be us. It has been the hardest thing we have ever been through, but we trust that what the devil has meant for evil, God will use for good. 
At this point in time, we feel that God has led us to embryo adoption to grow our family. As much as we will always grieve the biological children we dreamed of and loved in our hearts, we also feel that in a sense this was always God's plan for us - for our children to be adopted but also be lovingly nurtured and carried by Meredith's body and brought into this world with us there from the start. 
We have chosen Nightlight Adoptions and their Snowflakes Embryo Adoption program to facilitate this dream. We are blessed in that they work with the fertility clinic we are already patients at in Atlanta - Kindbody Fertility. This process is daunting and overwhelming in ways, but God is with us every step of the way and already bringing things together in ways only He can. 
We are going through Adoption Bridge for part of our adoption funding because they have a mission for every child, at every stage of life, to find a loving home. 
We cannot do this on our own, as much as we want to, and we are grateful beyond words to anyone who considers helping us get to our babies and our long awaited dream of parenthood.
