My name is Meleane Fehoko. I am working to adopt my two nieces from Tonga. They are the daughters of my only sister, who passed away. Their father has also passed away. I love these girls very much, and I want to give them a permanent, safe, and loving home.

I have been helping support the girls in Tonga for several years. I have helped with their housing, school needs, food, and other expenses. Adopting them is not the beginning of my relationship with them. They are already part of my family and have always been close to my heart. The adoption will allow me to legally become their mother and give them a more secure future.

I came to the United States from Tonga in 2009. I have worked in senior care for more than ten years. My job has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to care for others during difficult times.

The estimated cost to adopt both girls is approximately $35,000 to $41,000. I have already paid $4,800 from my own income. I will continue working extra shifts, saving, and contributing as much as I can.
