David and Kayla

Hello we are David and Kayla!

Thank you for taking the time to view our profile, and thank you most of all for choosing life. Kayla and I met at church while we were both in college in 2020 and began dating not long after. We were married in 2022 at Kayla's home church which she grew up attending and where we continue to attend and serve.

From the beginning of our relationship we have talked about adoption, and knew it was something we would pursue. Kayla at age 15 was told she would most likely not be able to have children. Two years of fertility treamtements confirmed that. Throughout all of this, we have depended on God and He has graciously led us through the highs and lows, preparing our hearts for adoption. 

David holds a doctorate in Aerospace Engineering and is now working in the defense industry. Kayla was a Special Education Teacher and taught Middle School until she stepped away from teaching for her fertility treatments. Kayla now looks forward to being a stay at home mom.

We live in central Florida with family close by. If chosen, your child will have lots of family in close proximity and several cousins excited to meet them. Family dinners are a weekly occurence with everyone gathering together for food and board games. Because we live in Florida, family Disney trips are also a regular occurance and one of our favorite getaway spots. Some of our favorite hobbies are traveling to new places, theater, music, reading, and astronomy. 

If chosen, we promise to raise your child in a Christian home and to love them unconditionally.
