Hello! We are Clayton & Amanda Cook from Kentucky and we are excited to grow our family through domestic infant adoption. Adoption has always been something on our hearts and a part of our family plan since we were married in 2012. We were foster parents for four years, getting to parent our foster daughters for nearly two years before we celebrated their adoption by their biological grandparents. A few years later, we began the process of embryo adoption before finding out we were already pregnant. Now, domestic infant adoption fits our currently family situation the best. We can offer a child a safe, loving, stable, financially secrure home with numerous extended family and friends, and two loving, excited older siblings.

We have chosen to partner with Nightlight Christian Adoptions because of their commitment and care for birthmothers, ongoing support of birth and adoptive families, and longstanding, ethical reputation. We are thankful expectant mothers receive counseling, support, and information on how to parent if they choose before exploring adoption options. We want birth mothers to feel confident in their decision to choose adoption for their baby and confident in their choice of us as the parents of their child. We hope to have an open adoption where birth mother is like an extended part of the family who we visit or communicate with at least once a year for the good of the child. 

We are using AdoptionBridge through our agency's platform as a way for Expectant Mothers to see our profile if she is considering adoption as well as to fundraise the final amount needed for our adoption. We have currently paid $38,675 out of the estimated $48,000 total cost through the support of our village using Blind Date with a Book/Puzzle fundraisers, a Pancake Breakfast, Raffle Fundraisers, donations, and our own personal savings. We are applying for grants and working to fundraise the final amount for our last Program Fee, travel, and lawyer fees. We would be honored if you chose to donate to help us complete our family!
