Building our family in faith and love

Hello!  We are the Pearson family!  We have been praying daily for our forever child.  We have been waiting for 3 yrs now with Nightlight Adoption agency and as of recently have been told that we are #15 out of 100 waiting families.  We are overjoyed and thrilled as we are getting closer to being matched.  In the meantime of the waiting period, God has been working in us and shaping us to be more like Him and testing our patience and faith in Him.  We have so much love to give to our soon to be adopted child and promise to strive to be the best parents ever to them.  A couple of yrs ago we had a very unfortunate circumstance happen to us in which we had a miscarriage and almost lost my life as well as our pregnancy was high risk.  Our Dr. even told us it would be too risky if we tried again to have another baby.  We were so devastated and traumatized by this and it took us awhile to heal with the grief however we do believe God has His reasons for allowing this to happen to us.  We have been growing in our faith because of this unfortunate experience and without Him we wouldn't know what we would do.  He is our comfort in times of sadness and God was the one who got us through it every step of the way. I admit at first I was angry at God questioning His intentions on allowing such a bad experience to happen to us but gradually I have learned to trust in Him again.  Sometimes I felt like He wasn't present when we were going through so much trauma but the valleys/lows made me much stronger and is a testiment of faith in Him.  I don't know why He allows bad things to happen in our lives but I do know that He is the only one who can get us through hardships and heartaches.  There are times where I must admit that it hasn't been easy to go on in life and I look back and wonder why He took our unborn baby away but I just know He has a greater purpose for our life.  He could have taken me as well when I lost our baby but He didn't.   By the grace of God he spared me because He isn't finished with me yet.  I believe that His purpose for our life is to be the best parents that we can be to our adopted child that he already handpicked for us.  God knows we needed him/her and they need us.  God just amazes us as He works in mysterious ways and we truly believe He will bless us with the perfect adopted child for our forever family.   Sometimes things don't work out the way you want them to but He has a greater purpose for our life.  We are using AdoptionBridge for raising funds as we could certainly use your help in bringing our adopted child home.  With costs going up we surely would appreciate any type of help.  Ty for viewing our profile and taking the time to read it and God bless!
