Our journey together hasn’t been what we imagined. We have experienced a lot of heartache together but we’ve also experienced so much joy. Our daughter, Addalyn, was 2 years old when she went to be with Jesus. Her life brought us so much joy and taught us the importance of cherishing every moment with those you love.
We both always wanted a large family and found out more biological children isn’t possible for us. We were planning to adopt before Addy passed away, but put it on hold for a while. We are excited to be back on the path to grow our family and for Addy to be a big sister in heaven. No child can ever replace her, but we still have so much love to give and look forward to having another child to welcome into our family.
Life can be so hard but there is also so much joy and beauty to be found in it as well. God can redeem any story and bring beauty from ashes.
