We are Derrick and Zoey..

For the past five years, we’ve been walking a road we never expected—one filled with hope, heartbreak, waiting, and unwavering faith.

My husband and I have been together for almost nine years and married for nearly four. From the beginning, we dreamed of building a family together. But our journey to parenthood has been anything but simple. We’ve faced infertility on both sides—my husband underwent surgery to correct varicose veins that were impacting his fertility, but despite that step of hope, his numbers never improved. At the same time, I’ve been navigating life with PCOS, which has added its own challenges to conceiving.

There have been so many moments where it felt like every step forward came with another setback. But through it all, we’ve held tightly to our faith and to each other.

After years of waiting, praying, and searching for the right path, we were incredibly blessed with the opportunity to adopt two embryos through Snowflakes Embryo Adoption. Saying “yes” to these embryos felt like saying yes to the family we’ve been longing for all along.

But even in this answered prayer, we’ve hit the same barrier that has followed us throughout this journey—finances.

Each step forward comes with another fee—remaining adoption costs, medications, procedures, and the transfer itself. It often feels like just as we gain momentum, we’re paused again by something out of our control. More than anything, we simply want to keep moving forward—to give these embryos a chance at life and finally begin the family we’ve been praying for.

We are deeply rooted in our faith and actively involved in our church community. We look forward to raising our future children to know love, kindness, and the foundation of Christ that has carried us through this journey.
