Dear Expectant Mother, HELLO! We just wanted to say that we are so grateful for you and also proud OF you for choosing life. We can't imagine how difficult this is for you. You should feel brave and empowered. We are praying for you- that you may have peace and comfort during this time. We accept this blessing and responsibility of adoption with both excitement and humility. We are Rudy & Lara and we've been together since senior year of college and married since 2009.  We know what it means to be commited, loyal, and protectful.  A little snippet on us- my wife and I both played sports in college. I was a linebacker on the football team and Lara was a softball pitcher. Now, I am a Neurosurgeon/Director of Neuroendovascular Surgery and Lara is enjoying the rewarding work of being a stay-at-home mom.  It's been fun to see how we have grown over all these years together. We both come from loving and stable families with very humble backgrounds.  My wife & I agree that sense of humor was a major draw that we have to each other. We believe laughter, prayer, hard work and commitment are keys to a happy home. We have a newly 4 year old daughter named Lilah, who we were blessed with after infertility treatments. She is energetic, adventurous and talks often about wanting a baby sibling that she can play with. We have always believed we were called to have more than 1 child to love, teach, and cherish. No matter what, every child in our family will be treated as the most precious little blessing. We love animals and can't wait to teach your little one how to love on animals too! We have 2 long-haired Chihuahuas. They are 5 lbs each, and are lap dogs that love to cuddle. Their favorite thing to do, other than eat, is steal and play with Lilah's toys. We just built a home in a quiet development that has lots of other families with kids. This part of Maine is simply beautiful and ideal for families! We love spending time outdoors and have been desingning the backyard into a fun and safe place to play. Our neighborhood also has a 1-mile loop that we walk together often. Lara and I have had so much love and support from family and friends during this adoption process. Our friends with young children can't wait for us to expand our family and add a little one to the play dates. Lara has 3 precious adopted cousins as well. We look forward to meeting you, if that is something that you desire, and we are very flexible on whatever makes you the most comfortable in that relationship going forward!  We know that God's timing is at work here for all of us, and we are trusting His amazing plan over any of our own.
