Domestic Adoption

Hello,

We are Roy and Riley, and our hearts go out to you as you face this incredibly difficult decision. We can only imagine the emotions you’re carrying right now, and we want you to know that whatever you’re feeling is completely okay. We have so much respect and admiration for your strength and the love you’re showing by making a plan for your baby. We are truly honored that you are even considering us as you think about your child’s future.

We met through mutual friends when Riley was in college. We stayed close as friends for years, but didn’t start dating until about a year after she graduated. Riley had converted to Catholicism during college, and Roy began his own faith journey while we were dating. We’ve helped each other grow in beautiful ways: Roy encouraged Riley to try new hobbies and build stronger friendships, while Riley introduced Roy to the Catholic faith and supported him through his conversion. We’ve been married since 2023 and feel so grateful to be building a life together in a quiet, small town just south of Atlanta.

We live in a warm, six-bedroom, four-bathroom home on a peaceful street with plenty of room to grow. Roy’s mom, Sunny, lives with us in her own in-law suite downstairs, so we have built-in family support and extra hands whenever we need them. Our neighborhood is safe and friendly, with parks, playgrounds, lakes, and pools nearby. We’re close enough to Atlanta for restaurants, museums, and culture, but we also love escaping to the north Georgia mountains for hiking and scenic drives. Our home is full of laughter, good food, and friends. We love hosting dinner parties, cooking together, and simply being with the people we care about.

Roy is steady, easy-going, and the jokester in every room. As an engineer, he loves building things with his hands and takes pride in being someone people can always count on. He enjoys grilling and cooking for family and friends, watching movies and live theater, and staying active. Together we go to the gym, attend opera and orchestra performances, and make time for movie nights.

Riley is joyful, thoughtful, and nurturing. She loves reading, gardening, sewing, and going to the gym. She attends Mass at least five days a week and serves in several ministries, including youth group and Catholic scouting. She is excited to pour that love into raising children.

We feel uniquely blessed to be in a position to welcome a child into a home filled with love, stability, and so many caring adults. Our Catholic faith teaches us that every child is a gift with inherent dignity, and we are committed to raising our children to know they are loved by God and by us unconditionally.

We are wholeheartedly open to an open adoption. We believe children have a natural right to know and be connected to their biological family whenever possible. We would love to share regular updates through photos, letters, calls, or emails as your child grows, and we are happy to arrange in-person visits for special milestones and meaningful moments. Our goal is a loving, respectful relationship that honors you and supports your child in the best way possible.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to learn about us. We know there is no way to fully understand what you are going through, but we hope you can find peace knowing that if you choose us, your child will be surrounded by unconditional love, faith, laughter, and a big, supportive family every single day.

We are praying for you.
