We are Chantelle and Jeff,
We've spent a lot of time imagining the moment we'd get to write these words to you. While we don't know your name yet, we already hold a deep space of gratitude for you in our hearts. We know you are navigating a path that requires incredible strength, and we want you to know that we see you, we respect you, and we are rooting for you.
Our life is built on a love for adventure and the belief that life is meant to be experienced. If you choose us, this child’s life will be a beautiful collection of “firsts”. We find our peace in the mountains and the beach. We love the feeling of a new adventure. Whether it’s the quiet views of the Smoky Mountains or the immersive wonder of the sound of waves crashing, we believe in the power of “getting away” to focus entirely on quality time. We can’t wait to see the look on a child’s face when they see the mountains for the first time or building a sand castle listening to the waves.
Our lives are deeply rooted in our Christian faith, and it is the compass that guides how we love and treat others. We want you to know that this child will grow up in a home filled with the stories of God’s grace and the knowledge of His unconditional love. We are committed to raising them to understand that they are a miraculous creation, intentionally made and deeply cherished. Above all, we will teach them that they are a blessing from God, and that you are a vital, honored part of that beautiful story.
Our house is often filled with the sounds of our nieces and nephews. We are the “fun” Uncle and Aunt who are always down for a movie marathon or a loud, competitive board game night. This child will grow up with a built-in squad of cousins who are already asking when their new cousin is coming to play.
From the front row of a concert to the smell of movie theater popcorn, we love the energy of being together. We promise a life where music is always playing and there is always something to look forward to.
Beyond the trips and the games, we promise a foundation of unshakable stability. We promise to be the parents who cheer the loudest at every performance or Game, while providing a soft place to land when life gets tough. The love we share already will pour into this child, because we have been waiting for this little miracle to love for so many years.
Most importantly, we promise that you will always be honored. This child will grow up knowing that their story began with your love and your bravery. We will tell them about you with grace and respect, ensuring they know just how much they were wanted by all of us.
