Domestic Adoption

Dear Birth Mother,

We recognize that considering adoption for your child is one of the most profound and difficult decisions you may ever face. Please know that we do not take this process lightly. We have prayed over this decision, sought wisdom from other adoptive parents, and carefully considered how another baby would be cherished and cared for in our family. Every morning during breakfast, we read a short devotional with our boys and pray together. And every day, we specifically pray for you. We pray that you feel cared for, loved, and supported, and that your baby grows healthy and strong.

We have been married for 10 years and together for 14. We have two smart, fun, hilarious and beautiful boys, Teddy (5 1/2) and Jamie (3) that we are raising in Lexington, Kentucky. We love to be active with our boys, whether playing t-ball and soccer in the backyard, or going for bike rides to our favorite local park. Spending time with our kids brings us immense joy and we have no doubt in our minds that welcoming another sweet life into our family would only grow how blessed we feel to be parents.

We are committed to teaching our children to love and respect all people as image-bearers of Christ. Inclusivity is a core value in our home, and we encourage our boys to be welcoming and kind in all their friendships. We are also open to transracial adoption and eager to honor and celebrate your child’s heritage through books, classes, and meaningful connections. Adoption is already part of our family’s story, as our nephew Daniel was adopted from China, and we have seen firsthand the beauty of embracing a child’s culture.

We promise to provide a loving, Christ-centered home where our child will always feel safe, valued, and deeply loved. Our boys are eager to welcome a new sibling, and we would be truly honored to be considered as a family for your precious child.

All our love,

Andy, Samantha, Teddy & Jamie
