Huon Family Adoption

We are Damson, Jenn and Bohao Huon and we are so excited to share with you about our next adoption from India.  As many of you know, we have previously adopted Bohao from China in 2018.  Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to complete our 2nd adoption from China.  God has now opened the door for us to adopt from India.  Although, this is a different path that we thought we would be taking, looking back, we can see how God had prepared our hearts many years ago to adopt from India.  Here is one example...

Many years ago when I (Jenn) was in 4th grade, I began going to a missions camp called Camp Mundo Vista.  I remember meeting a missionary who had worked in India for 2 years.  Her pictures and stories touched my heart.  I clearly remember telling myself, "One day I want to go to India."  Fast forward to 1997, God opened the door for me to take my first international missions trip to India.  After 6 missions trips to an orphanage in India, I decided to commit to 6 months working in India.  Unfortunately, due to September 11th, I was only able to stay for 6 weeks.  Because of these circumstances, God opened the door for me to go to Cambodia, where I would meet my husband, Damson.  India has always been a very special place in my heart and the opportunity to adopt from India now is incredibly exciting.  

Why adopt again?  God has given this life to us as a gift.  We truly believe that we should give our lives away in service to him and what a wonderful way to do that through adoption.
